I cannot recommend Greg from Off Grid Solar in Walmer highly enough! He handled both my original solar installation in Summerstrand and a recent upgrade, and the experience has been seamless from start to finish. Greg’s professional work and technical expertise are top-tier, but what truly sets him apart is his dedication to customer service. He consistently went above and beyond his duty to keep me fully informed throughout the entire process. On top of that, his after-sales service has been absolutely phenomenal. If you are looking for an honest, reliable, and highly skilled solar expert in Port Elizabeth, Greg is your go-to guy. Thank you, Greg, for the incredible work and peace of mind!

I had a great experience with SA Off Grid Power. Greg and his team were highly professional throughout the entire process, from the initial discussions through to installation. The quality of workmanship is excellent, and everything was completed to a very high standard. The system has made a real difference to my business by ensuring a consistent and reliable power supply, which is critical for day-to-day operations. I would highly recommend Greg and his team to anyone considering a solar installation.

Excellent service received from Greg. He popped in personally to view the site and confirm that installation per the quotation was possible. We had scheduled installation for the following week, but within 2 days the Chelsea-Arlington line went down with a pylon collapse. Greg rearranged his schedule to fit us in as soon as possible so that we could at least have solar power in place. Quick to respond to queries.

Outstanding service from start to finish. The SA Off Grid Power team was professional, punctual, and exceptional on-site during the full solar system installation. The speed and quality of the work were top-tier, and the after sales support has been just as impressive. The whole process was easy, smooth and efficient. Highly recommended!

After considering Solar for more than a year, I finally decided to go for it. I chose SA Off Grid Power. I have to say it was really the best choice I could have made, My wife and I have been so impressed. Jamie and his team were very professional and courteous. I am very fussy about things being straight and square and neat. I have to say I was very happy with the installation. Greg’s advice is well worth taking. He advised me on how to go and the system is doing exactly as he said it would. I would definitely recommend SA Off Grid.

When I contacted them I received a fast response. The owner asked me my requirements that I wanted and offered me multiple options and explained them to me. We set a date for installation and the work was completed in one day. The after service is also something to praise as I have contacted them multiple times after hours for information and explanation. 10/10

Solar panel were installed timeously and work beautifully, the thing is it’s not only about the installation but it’s the service thereafter sorting out the invertor settings etc and the promised kept. I recommend

I highly recommend SA Off Grid. Greg, his son Jamie and the rest of the team did a great job with our 10KW SunSynk inverter, 10KW Freedom Won battery and 18 x Canadian Solar 605W panel installation at the end of 2024. Very neat, professional and Greg knows his solar! Our main reasons for choosing them are that they are a registered and approved solar installer. One must keep that in mind, as insurance companies these days will look for any reasons not to pay out if something goes wrong. Also for the warranties that you have on the solar products. We had a problem after the installation, with my Freedom Won battery that I supplied, Greg went the extra mile to sort it out with Freedom Won. It needed a software upgrade from their side - all done online. So the after installation service is also great! We will definitely use them again when we add an extra battery to our system and say goodbye to Eksdom. Thank you and regards Werner - Kragga Kamma - PE PS: It is so nice to have power while the neighbourhood has loadshedding.

We had the pleasure to deal with Greg and his team at SA Off Grid. I phoned three different companies for quotes. Greg was able to see me on the same day; he came after hours to be able to fit us in. Three days later our system was up and running. Greg was straight forward, knew what he was talking about and did not push his product. The team was such a pleasure to deal with. Neat, efficient and friendly. I waited 3 weeks before I wanted to write this review to make sure this really is as good as I was experiencing it. I am happy to say that the after service is amazing. Greg is always available to answer our stupid questions. Thank you SA Off Grid.

Greg and his team installed my solar system in May 2023. I have a 8kW inverter and started off with 2 x 5.5kW life batteries and 10 x 550W which I expanded on a few months later. I have deliberately delayed my review so I could witness the after sales service. We have had only two small issues which were promptly sorted out. I would from my experience highly recommend Greg and his team.

Fantastic team, highly recommend them. Even once the job is done Greg keeps an eye on the performance of the system. Making sure everything is running as it should or if anything needs tweaking to maximize performance. Thanks Greg and team, I'm one happy customer.

What an incredible company! Greg, his son, and the whole installation team have been amazing. From the 1st day, I made a call, Greg was completely reassuring and convincing. After having phoned two other companies, I had already decided about my call with Greg the first time. We went for an 8kW SunSynk + x2 5kW battery installed in 1 day. The system is running perfectly. Today, we added x2 more 5kW installed in 2 hours. Finding a trustworthy, reliable, and great after-sale service company like SA Off Grid Power is rare, especially in the current SA solar industry market. I wish you all the best, and keep up the great work!

The best way to describe my experience with SA Off Grid is to say.... I have made the right choice. It's very hard these days to find suppliers who are reliable, honest, cares about the product they sell and the service they deliver. From quoting to the final product it has been a pleasure. Very fortunate that Greg and his team has walked the extra mile for our family as well. Thank you Greg. May you guys only prosper and grow. You can't go wrong with SA Off Grid.

Excellent and friendly staff and service. Greg gave my very good advice and guidance on what I needed. Very quick and neat installation. I am very happy with my system and it's worth every cent I spend on it, I got my system just over a week ago and already saved a huge amount on my electricity bill. I am basically of the grid with my system. Thanks to the SA Off Grid team. You guys rock.

Had the most amazing experience with Greg and his team. From the time I accepted his quote I was updated on my installation in Port Alfred. As I could not be present when installation was done. I left the install in their capable hands and guidance. Everything done within 1 week. No waiting, no excuses he just got on with the job. His son and team kept me updated on the installation during the day with photos. Very difficult to find a company like this with such integrity. Thank you Greg, Jamie & team.
